Bray Wanderers have turned a big corner in their league form.

They have gone five games unbeaten. Most notably they haven’t conceded a goal in those five games. Harry Kenny has certainly solidified the defence in his short time as manager. But Shamrock Rovers may have improved since Pat Fenlon got the chop, too.

Stephen Bradley oversaw a decent 1-1 draw in Finland and a 3-1 Dublin derby win over Bohemians. The derby win was helped by an early red card for Bohemians. But it’s still a decent start for the caretaker manager. Meanwhile the club have let Danny North and Max Blanchard leave.

Both sides have had a break from League Of Ireland action due to the European matches. It will be their first outing for two weeks. Considering their good form Bray may not have wanted the enforced hiatus but Rovers may have welcomed it.

It will have given them more time to work on their deficiencies. They could certainly do with scoring more goals if they are are to challenge for a European place. A trip to the seaside to visit a now meagre Seagulls defence would be a good place to start.

But they are unlikely to cut the Bray defence open too readily. They may have to settle for a draw at best with a 0-0 scoreline not out of the question. Three of Bray’s last five games have finished 0-0 after all.
