The bookies were very late in opening their books for this weekends action. As such that has left little time to do individual match previews.
Dundalk opened at 1.73 (8/11) with Ladbrokes but it was quickly snapped up. If you’re quick you might still get the 1.67 (4/6) with Marathon Bet. If you’re even faster you might still get them with a -1 handicap at 2.63 (13/8) with Skybet and Ladbrokes.
The League Of Ireland heroes were back in the gym and the pool on Wednesday afternoon. No rest for the wicked and their away form in the league has been extraordinary. Stephen Kenny was all over the media the next day saying there is no point doing well in Europe if you can’t get back there next season.
There will be some sort of hangover but don’t expect them to rest on their laurels.
Sligo Rovers could be worth considering at 1.75 (3/4) with Boylesports. They travel to Wexford Youths who have had a tough time of it of late. This will be their third game in seven days and that’s a tough schedule for the amateurs.
Bohemians should be taken at 1.8 (4/5) with Marathon Bet at home to Finn Harps. Harps have been the surprise of the season so far but may be getting stretched as the campaign’s toil takes it’s toll.
Under 2.5 goals in Tallaght at 2.3 (13/10) with Boylesport can also be considered. But be wary that Longford have seen plenty of goals in their games and have proven themselves capable of scoring against anyone.
Dundalk -1 @ 2.63 with Skybet
Bohemians WIN @ 1.8 with Marathon Bet
